Larissa Mair has been involved in the arts on many different levels for over 20 years.
Recently she cast a new Feature/Web Series called Cybergeddon created by Anthony Zuiker (Creator of CSI) and produced by Dare to Pass, Dolphin Entertainment and Aircraft Pictures. In addition, a few feature films called DeadWeight and The Birder. It has been a thrill to cast The Perfect Storms for Eone Entertainment. She is also casting two Pilots as well as a series for YTV. In addition she’s been involved in the casting of such films as Confessions of a Dangerous Mind directed by George Clooney, starring Sam Rockwell; Whiteout with Kate Beckinsale;
Servitude with Dave Foley; and Offline with Mischa Barton, along with the co-casting of Foxfire directed by Academy Award nominated director, Laurent Cantet which premiered in the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. Some other series that she has cast are, What’s Up Warthogs for Family Channel (Seasons 1 and 2), the comedy series Insecurity for CBC (Seasons 1 and 2), the YTV series Life With Boys (Seasons 1 and 2) (from the creators of Hannah Montana) and Season 2 of the hit show The L.A. Complex aired on CW and Much, produced by Epitome Pictures.
Larissa has her own casting studio, so can work around the clock to get the job done.
In 2001 she co-founded a theatre company in her hometown called Theatre by the Bay.
She has produced over twenty theatrical productions. She also started an educational Shakespearean tour that performs across Simcoe County on an annual basis. She admires her Board of Directors, Creative team and volunteers that work so hard to continue to keep live theatre alive.
Larissa has always been known to go above the call of duty with any project she is committed to. Her positive staff and team have been with her for years. She is very thankful for the team that she has working along with her. Thanks for supporting the arts!
After graduating from the prestigious Music Theatre Program at Sheridan College, Jen had the wonderful opportunity to work with the Walt Disney Company. During her time at Disney she brought some classic characters to life, from a beautiful princess to Mr Potato Head! She also was the host of many internal videos for Disney Cruise Line (DCL), Walt Disney World, Walt Disney Land and had the opportunity to provide assistants with DCL auditions. Jen is thrilled to be working on the other side of the table once again and she couldn't be happier to be embarking on this new chapter of her career with this fantastic team!
Rebecca is a recent graduate of Queen's University, where she received her BAH in Drama and Film & Media Studies. In her time at Queen's, Rebecca was heavily involved in several student productions, taking on a variety of roles including performer, crew member and director. After completing her degree, Rebecca immediately began working in the Toronto film industry as a talent agency assistant. She is thrilled to now be working in the exciting world of casting, a field that she has dreamed of being a part of for many years. She continues to actively create and collaborate on new theatre pieces in her spare time.
